Job Title:        Logistics Officer
Employer: Caritas Uganda
Location: Uganda
Reports to: Humanitarian Programme Manager

Job Summary: The Logistics Officer will be providing logistical support to the whole programme (procurement, supplies, vehicle management, ICT management, office management, travels, security and other tasks).

Education:
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Experience
At least five years of experience as logistical officer in emergency context, being responsible for procurement and contract management, supplies, warehousing, reporting, ICT management, HR and team management.
Previous experience with emergency camp settings is an asset.
Excellent computer skills
Possess a valid and clean driver’s licence
Flexibility to perform different tasks and outside office hours
Able to work under pressure, not a 9-5 mentality
Good English language skills
