Job Title:       Fresh Fruit Bunches Quality Inspector
Employer: Kalangala Oil Palm Growers Trust (KOPGT)
Location: Uganda


Duties :
The jobholder will execute quality checks on FFB and suitability for transportation to the factory
Ensure strict adherence to FFB testing and sampling regime
Tasked with promoting quality procedures and continuous improvement in the quality of FFB
Physically inspecting FFB

Key Result Areas:
Ensure FFB delivered to OPUL in high quality
Improved quality of FFBs
Quality assurance and quality control procedures

Education:
The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institution. Possession of a degree in agriculture related field is an added advantage.

Experience:
A minimum of three years’ experience in quality inspection; preferably in plantation agriculture.
Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Microsoft office suite packages.
Computer literacy and knowledge of accounting software systems.

Age: Below 40 years
