Job Title:    Community Data Officer (4 Fresher Jobs)
Employer: Program for Accessible health, Communication and Education (PACE)
Location: Uganda

Duties:
Provide support in the development and implementation of data management plans for community organizations and partners under this project.
Support data management work performed by project staff and community partners and input data collected in line with data management procedures
Ensure data system (community tools, entry screens) are available and operational
Manage data entry works/teams through coaching and mentorship of community based organizations.
The jobholder will also troubleshoot data submission errors and error issues and check for discrepancies, defects in data on a monthly basis in specified timelines.
Perform and document procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, standardization and regularly back up data.
Responsible for quality control procedure (including, but not limited to, random phone calls to check data, and also checking data entry quality)

Education:

Experience
Prior experience in data management in donor funded program with experience in DHIS2
Previous experience in data use for decision making in HIV Care programs
Working knowledge of use of word processing, spreadsheet software programs
Applicable knowledge working with statistic databases such as STATA, SPSS etc.

Job Title:         Local Security Assistant
Employer: United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS)

Duties:
Assists the SA/DSA in collecting, updating and communicating information regarding the security situation in the duty station:
Works closely with and coordinates, as appropriate, with the host government security organizations and/or personnel, including national and local provincial authorities, military, and police officers, as well as non-governmental organizations and other non-State actors in the area of operation;
Assists to assess the security situation at the duty station and ensures adequate gathering and verification of security information that may be required for a proper analysis of the situation by the SA/DSA;
Communicates information on security to the heads of United Nations agencies in the duty station;
Maintains regular contacts with Security Focal Points of UN agencies within the area of responsibility;
Offers timely technical assistance at ASMT meetings and produces minutes for the ASC, keeping the SA well informed at all times.

Education:
The ideal applicant for the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) Local Security Assistant job placement should have completed secondary education.  University Degree desirable, but it is not a requirement.

Experience
At least six years of progressive experience in security, preferably in the military or police context or related field of work.
Prior experience with the UN system or an international NGO is desirable.
Knowledge of HF and VHF radio operation;
Previous experience in diplomatic security, protection and intelligence considered an asset;
Knowledge of host country safety codes;
Excellent computers skills (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint);
