Job Title:    Senior Accounts Assistant

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Duties
·         The Senior Accounts Assistant will provide custody for accounting records and documents.
·         The jobholder will also process deferred tax payments, tax returns and keep records thereof.
·         Post financial transactions, cashbooks, subsidiary ledgers to General ledger and maintain up-to-date record of the books of accounts.
·         Prepare and reconcile payroll transaction reports.
·         Capture transactions into the commitment control register.
·         Keep custody of cash/imprest, effect payments, and maintain up-to-date cash book records.
·         Prepare draft monthly reconciliation reports.
·         Prepare voucher according to payment requested.
·         The jobholder will record and capture data on the system.
·         Improve information on Electronic Funds Transfer and, execute payment to the beneficiaries.

Education:
·         The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
·         Professional training in CPA II or ACCA level II is an added advantage

Experience
·         At least two years of relevant working experience at the level of Accounts Assistant or equivalent from a reputable organization
·         Core Competencies: Demonstrating objectivity, integrity, and ethical behaviour, Problem solving and decision-making skills, Innovative and creative thinking, ability to work productively with individuals in diversity of roles and with varying interests. Knowledge of finance and accounting packages, Excellent command of spoken and written English, Communication and interpersonal skills, Strong IT and computer proficiency skills, Results and team-oriented. Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Job Title:         Assistant Records Officer
Employer: Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute - Jinja
Location: Jinja, Uganda

Duties:
·         The Assistant Records Officer will serve as the Librarian.
·         Filing classified information.
·         Auditing records and registers to ensure proper data bank.
·         Scheduling disposal of unwanted records and information.
·         Selecting and acquiring cataloging information.
·         Assisting researchers with literature like printed resources and books.
·         Making departmental work plans and budget


Education:
·         The applicant for the Assistant Records Officer job opportunity should either hold an Advanced Certificate in Education (‘A’ Level) with a Diploma in Library and Information Science (DLIS) or a Diploma in Records and Information Management (DRIM) from a recognized institution
·         Age: Between 20-45 years

Job Title:         Medical Officer
Employer: Bushenyi Medical Center (BMC)
Location: Uganda


Job Summary: The Medical Officer will ensure delivery of quality HIV/AIDS care & treatment services to clients. In addition, he/she will support health system strengthening interventions by building capacity of health care workers in comprehensive HIV/AIDS management. He/she will deputise the medical director & perform any other duties as assigned.

Education
·         The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from a reputable University.
·         The applicant should have active registration with the UMDPC
·         HIV/AIDS care will be an added advantage
·         At least 6 months of service in a busy clinical setting.
·         Good counseling skills
·         Teamwork and management
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
