Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The jobholder will be required to understand the security perfections for logbooks.
Tasked with collections of loans secured with logbooks.
Responsible for analysing applicants’ financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting a loan.
Tasked with determining authenticity of collateral in line with company rules and policies.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Degree/diploma in a relevant field.
One year of experience preferably in a financial institution.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Title:      Field IT Technician
Employer: International Criminal Court (ICC)
Location:  Kampala, Uganda
Net Annual Salary: UGX 58,284,000.00
Reports to: ICT Lead Team, Hague


Duties:
 Manage and Maintain the AV Equipment at the Field Office:
The jobholder will operate all AV equipment in the relevant meeting rooms and offices. This includes interpretation system, sound and video system to ensure a high level output from the meetings.
Provides alternative and viable solutions to problems arising on the spot with secured connection.
Plans and performs regular preventive maintenance of all AV equipment to ensure its functionality. Responsible for calling in support from HQ, if an issue and assistance is needed
Works closely with staff at all levels from the Office and HQ and in context of AV related planning and executing the various events and meetings.
Rearranges conference area and meeting room to meet technical and physical requirements of users
Provides support in setting-up AV equipment for special events taking place outside the video link room
Perform any other assignment earmarked for AV equipment.
Telecommunication & Network Support:
Perform tasks related to scheduled service requests, including equipment replacement, equipment installation/de-installation, software installation, LAN connection
Support in routine installation, configuration, testing and deployment of hardware and software, including Local Area Network, Application Software, Electronic mail, Citrix, Internet Web software, firewall, Domain Name Server (DNS), DHCP, mail relay, and various security software.
Work to and give guidance to others on the ICT acceptable use policy.
Perform checks to ensure that telecommunication connectivity is maintained and viable.
Ensure that the LAN in place is functional and have the ability to diagnose LAN faults, add new nodes to the network and decommission inactive nodes.
Troubleshoot any LAN faults or end-user’s inabilities to access the resources on the network.
Secure physically and technically the available connectivity at the field office
Provision for and assist the field office staff with the Wireless LAN in place, peer to peer telecommunication services, satellite phone connectivity and VOIP telephony
Work closely with the registered Telecommunication and Network Service providers on their function to the field office
Configuration & Installation:
Provide support in creating a structured approach to rolling out new hardware or software, including requisition, testing and assessing the needs of user training.
Assist in setting up users in CITRIX, webmail access and computer aided communication with their peers, the Head Office and other resource organisations
Maintenance:
Develop a maintenance schedule for all computer hardware, software and networks, and ensure that it is followed.
Manage the structure of the field office intranet and internal systems and contribute to their development of a proper service delivery system of the ICT function at the field Office.
Support the implementation of network solutions as required by the field office staff.
Detect, diagnose and resolve most PC, printer, scanner and peripheral device faults.
Provide advice, guidance and assistance to the field office team concerning ICT related tasks and assignments

Education:
The ideal candidate for the International Criminal Court (ICC) Field IT Technician career opportunity should have completed secondary education. An advanced or a first-level university degree may be considered as a substitute for two years' working experience only to determine eligibility. Degree in Computer Science will be an added advantage.

Experience
At least eight years of relevant experience in Information Technology/Communication support, telephony systems, wide and local area networks including experience with common-carrier data networks; Microsoft and/or Cisco Network Certification or other network certification from any other recognized body highly desirable.
Broad knowledge and understanding of client/server architecture and ERPs
Knowledge of computer systems/networks and a range of software applications
Broad understanding health, safety and welfare regulations and best practice affecting ICT
Understanding Data and resource Protection requirements
Exceptional technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems in particular for managing and configuring authority and organisation LANs, WANs, WLANs, VLANs, VPNs, VOIP etc.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, WAPs
Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards
Knowledge and understanding of telecommunications principles
Knowledge of languages:  Proficiency in either of the working languages of the Court, English or French, is essential. Working knowledge of the other is desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish) would be considered an asset.

Job Title:           WASH Officer

Job Summary: The WASH Officer will provide technical support to ensure the successful development of sustainable water points and sensitise communities on proper sanitation and hygiene practices in the project location.

Education
The ideal candidate for the WASH Officer job opportunity should preferably hold a University degree in Public Health, Civil or Structural Engineering, Water and Environmental Management, Behaviour Change, Water Management, Water and Waste Engineering or a related discipline

Experience
At least two years of project involvement experience with a strong focus on hygiene promotion and capacity building
A minimum of two years’ experience of working in an NGO or similar WASH environment
Previous experience of hygiene sanitation participatory approaches such as PHAST and CLTS
Excellent communication, computer and report writing skills
Previous experience of working with community groups and training of community volunteers.
Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills to plan projects, timetable agreed activities and manage project budget.
Ability and willingness to live in the project location within the organization’s catchment area
Good team player, flexible and capable of adapting to a recovering, rural community environment.
Previous experience in working with implementing partners
