Job Title:    Systems Administrator

Education:

Experience
At least five years’ experience as a system administrator in an enterprise level Microsoft based environment in a busy IT environment
Previous experience working with Active Directory implementations
Experience of solving complex issues and effective troubleshooting
Prior experience with CISCO or any other recognized networking technologies for data and systems security

Education: The Teachers should have practical teaching experience in Automotive Mechanics, Culinary, Agriculture, Fashion and Garment Design, Building Construction or Carpentry

Duties

Executes the decisions of the Board.

Experience
Prior experience in client facing roles.
At least seven years of upper management experience in respective industry and sector. Have broad networks to advance the firms strategy.

Job Title:         Field Coordination Intern
Employer: UN Resident Coordinator’s Office

UN Resident Coordinator’s Office is recruiting a Field Coordination Intern

Duties:
Organize UN Area Coordination meetings and take regular minutes;
Follow-up on implementation of action points agreed upon during the regular UN area Coordination meetings;
Assist the UNAC and the UN Field Coordination Officer in compiling related information for field/area-based reporting;
Share relevant updates from Kampala with the field;
Draft all correspondences related to UNAC activities in the field;
Offer secretariat support to the UNAC during engagements with various stakeholders;
Support the UN Area Coordinator in drafting and reporting the UNACs work plans / achievements;
Mobilize field staff participation in organized field level trainings and events;
Draft the UNAC Monthly report to be shared to RCO, for review by the Area Coordination Team and UNAC;


Education:
Should be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher from a recognized institution) in international development studies, international relations, social sciences, political science, law, economics, management, or other relevant fields;
Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) in any of the fields listed above; and
Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;
Candidates must be able to adapt to an international, multicultural, multilingual environment, have good communication skills and can work in a team;

Experience: Previous experience from volunteering or extra-curricular activities linked to the Vision and Mission of the UN would be considered an asset;
Language: Fluency in English is essential.
