Job Title:               Field Officers (40 Fresher Jobs)
Employer: Tugende
Location: Kampala, Mbarara, Jinja  and Mbale, Uganda

Duties  
Recruit new applicants: Identify capable clients for Tugende hire-purchase arrangements.
Register applicants: Meet with applicants to obtain information on them and answer their questions about the application process.
Vet applicants: Conduct field visits (at applicant’s stage and home) while paired with another Field Officer.
Analyze the strength of completed applications: Analyze applicants’ financial status, creditworthiness and outstanding leases to determine applicant qualification.
Approve/Reject applicants: Evaluate applicant's creditworthiness in line with the existing guidelines
Review lease agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to the Tugende Policies.
Collections: Manage portfolio of up to 180 clients. Regularly follow up on client repayments (on phone and in person), understand any repayment and work challenges, give recommendations or escalate problem cases where necessary. Ensure client data is accurately captured in the lease management system in a timely manner
Customer service: Listen and attend to customer comments and inquiries, give recommendations or escalate problem cases where necessary.
Office work: Be able to help with office work including signing contracts with clients, transferring titles for Motorcycles and processing passenger service vehicle licenses (PSVs).

Education:
The applicants for the Field Officer jobs should preferably hold Diplomas in a business-related field or related fields
Excellent customer service and empathy for our customers.
Applicants with field work and community development experience have an added advantage

Experience
Previous experience working with a credit-related business is desired
Motorcycle riding ability is an added advantage.

Job Title:            Business Banker
Employer: DFCU Bank
Location: Kampala, Uganda

Duties:  
Keenly monitor the branch portfolio to ensure that PAR and NPAs are kept within the acceptable levels.
The jobholder will drive excellence in relationship management at the branch, develop regular customer call schedule/program, resolution of queries/complaints, monitor utilization of credit facilities and action/escalate as appropriate using reports and relevant management information to enable profitable management of this important segment.
Appraise loan applications making sure that they meet the set standards and credit requirements using the prescribed score cards and return those that do not meet specifications to the front office desk for follow up.
Initiate credit applications for new and existing customers by completing the documentation with customers, completing the required financial analysis and submitting applications to Retail credit for approval.
The incumbent will also increase product penetration for the customers under management by reviewing their portfolio to determine potential cross sells and proactively recommend new products to customers.
Receive security documents from customers ensuring that they meet bank standards and any specific requirements depending on the facilities offered to the customer.


Education:

Experience

Job Title:   Reservation & Ticketing Agent
Employer: Qatar Airways (QA)
Location: Entebbe, Uganda

Duties:
•         The jobholder will be making and confirming reservations for passengers, issuing tickets and quoting the correct fares to minimise passenger complains
•         Ensuring that all calls are answered within three rings and maintain call duration of less than four minutes.
•         Ensuring that 95% of calls are answered and that the abandoned call rate is less than 5%.
•         Maximising the number of bookings made in order to achieve departmental targets

Education: The ideal candidate for the Qatar Airways Reservation & Ticketing Agent job opportunity should hold a High School Education combined with a recognised IATA/Airline Basic Tariff Course. Possession of a certificate in Amadeus will be an added advantage.

Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role with one year exposure to reservation and ticketing using Amadeus would be ideal.
