Job Title:        Head of ICT
Employer: Kisaka & Company (Bank)
Location: Kampala, Uganda

Duties:
The jobholder will be contributing to the development of the Bank’s strategic and business plan, in relation to ICT
Tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining a financial management process
In charge of developing the ICT continuity plan/DRP and ensuring that it is implemented, tested and maintained
Developing, implementing, and maintaining a software management strategy that ensures compliance with software licenses
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the ICT security policy
Developing, implementing, and maintaining and proactively communicate ICT policies and procedures
Ensuring that all ICT procurement is undertaken in accordance with the procurement policies and procedures
Taking responsibility for ICT staff are appropriately motivated and trained


Education:
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer related subject or equivalent
Professional qualifications such as CCNA, MCP, OCP, MCDBA

Experience
A minimum of six years’ experience in the design, development and implementation of information technology and communications systems,
Broad knowledge and experience in developing, supporting and managing information and communications systems with appropriate controls and budget processes.
Substantial management experience and experience of managing IT project and budget
Broad understanding of computer systems, computer application and operating systems
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Employee development and performance management skills
High level of integrity and ethical standards
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and self-driven.
Age: Between 30 - 45 years.
