Research Officer Job Vacancy at Parliamentary Commission

Job Title:    Research Officer - Statistician
Employer: Parliamentary Commission
Location: Kampala, Uganda

Duties:
•         Collect, collate, analyze, document and store research data/ information in line with field of position applied for (expertise and qualification);
•         Prepare and submit research reports and briefs to Parliamentary Committees, Members of Parliament and staff;
•         Design studies and analyze data in the Department of Research Services
•         Actively participate in the design, maintenance and management of research databases in the Department of Research Services
•         Initiate and participate in the designing of research proposals/ Concept papers ,work plans and Budgets for carrying out research activities;

Education: The applicant must hold an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from a recognized University/ institution
•         Age: 21 years and above
