Parliamentary Commission is recruiting 4 Information & Public Education Officer
Duties:
• The incumbent will coordinate the research and documentation functions in the department
• Work closely with the public and private organizations for acquisition of news and information vital for parliamentary activities
• The incumbent will coordinate media relations and other activities of the media (UPPA) at Parliament, and Produce scripts for the media houses as may be required
• Write articles for publication in newspaper columns and generate and respond to FAQ’s on the website and other information requests
• Develop radio and television talk show schedules for the Head of Department
Education: The ideal applicants must hold Honours Bachelor’s Degrees in Mass Communication, or Communication Studies, or Public Relations or Journalism, or Arts with Communication and Public Relations studied as subjects, from a recognized University/Institution
