Job Title: Technique & Logistics Base
Employer: Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF)
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Duties:
Ensure a correct implementation of MSF CH standards (policies, procedures and tools)
The incumbent will support the line manager in the assigned tasks.
Regularly monitor the service/ unit under his/her responsibility, manages and follows up his/her team.
Ensure responsibility for all logistics activities on Suka Office and other facilities.
Ensure the necessary logistical supply on the all the facilities.
Manage and logistically monitor the material resources of the mission (Marmotta), under the supervision of the hierarchical and technical referents.
Provide support activities (communication and transportation).
Ensure the other necessary logistical activities (maintenance and rehabilitation necessary) for the improvement of living conditions on the facilities.
Directly manages the team under his / her responsibility.
Strengthen the capacity of each member of the team under his / her responsibility.
Education:
The applicant for the MSF Technique & Logistics Base career placement should have completed secondary education with Basic Training in a technical field.
Experience
One year of experience in logistics department.
Ability to learn quickly and to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment, good communication skills, initiative, good physical condition, smart appearance,
Language: Fluency in English and Luganda, etc
