Job Title:       Cluster Leader: Prevention, Care and Treatment Project Officer (3)
Employer: The AIDS Support Organization (TASO Uganda)
Location: Uganda

Duties:
Provide overall leadership, planning, organizing and directing for the Cluster team
Provide technical guidance to HIV/AIDS/TB care and treatment for the key thematic areas provided
Ensure that programmatic, financial, administrative and logistics support is handled.
Offer program, management and technical support provided to CBOs.
Provide program management and coordination support to
Tasked with the coordination of the Regional program and technical teams
Send reports on key activities related to HIV/AIDS/TB Prevention, Care and Treatment scale
Provide mentorship and coaching activities
Consolidate National HIV prevention, care and treatment guidelines rolled out
Support quality assurance of HIV/AIDS/TB services

Experience:
The ideal candidate for the CDC Project Cluster Leader: Prevention, Care and Treatment Project Officer  job opportunity should hold Bachelor’s degree in Medicine
Active Registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council is a MUST.
Possession of a Master’s degree m Public Health or related field will be an added advantage.
Specialized training in HIV/AIDS is an added advantage.
A minimum of three years of HIV/AIDS/TB clinical experience.
Prior exposure and experience in providing Technical Assistance to large scale HIV/AIDS HSS interventions within MoH structures and systems.
Broad knowledge and experience in HIV/AIDS/ TB Management
Good working knowledge of HIV/AIDS/TB programs, strategies, processes and techniques used to plan, develop, implement and evaluate results of the HIV/ AIDS prgrams
Proven computer skills in MS Office Applications and experience in strategic information management is an added advantage
