Job Title:       Communications Officer
Employer: Save the Children International
Location: Uganda


Job Summary: The Communications Officer will be providing high quality communications content on Save the Children’s work. This will include designing and supporting communications materials for programme beneficiaries, donors, and other internal and external audiences. The incumbent may also be called upon to support project reporting, collating information from project teams.

Education:
The ideal candidate for the Save the Children Communications Officer job placement should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mass communication or related field. Post Graduate training in Media or other relevant field is an added advantage.

Experience
A minimum of two years’ experience in a position in an international development organization.
Prior exposure and experience working with local partners and District Local Government in Child Rights Governance, Health, Nutrition, Education, HIV/AIDS or Child Protection is an added advantage.
