Job Title:         Qualitative Research Field Manager
Employer: Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA)
Location: Kitgum, Agago, Lamwo, Uganda
Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is recruiting a Qualitative Research Field Manager

Duties:  
•         Communicating with national, district and local officials, healthcare providers, village household members as well as LSHTM academics and IPA research team;
•         Field piloting and refining survey tools for data collection;
•         Recruiting, assessing, training and managing a small team of interviewers and transcribers;
•         Planning and organizing of interviews, focus groups and observations in rural Acholi Region;
•         Create project timeline and ensure successful scheduling and mobilization of each appointment;
•         Managing information and data collected and ensuring targets are reached in a timely manner;
•         Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor;

Education:  The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desirable

Experience: A minimum of three to five years of qualitative research experience. Native Acholi/Luo language skills
