Employer: Visit Uganda Tours & Travel Ltd
Location: Airways House, Kimathi Avenue, Kampala, Uganda
Duties
Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets, accommodation, securing and transportation etc.
Supply travelers with accurate information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc)
Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns
Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
Create and update electronic records of clients
Reach the revenue and profit targets
Available, able to respond to any call / email any time of the day /night
Secure and reserve client’s safari accommodation following the confirmed safari program
Take overall responsibility of securing visitors relevant trekking permits in relevant parks following their confirmed program
Book and reserve in advance all tour activities as per the program confirmed
Education:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism & Travel related course
Experience
Two years’ experience in a tour or travel agency
Energy and patience;
Below 28 years old preferably a Male candidate
