Job Title: PR /Marketing Manager
Employer: New TV Station Uganda
Location: Kampala, Uganda
We are recruiting a PR /Marketing Manager in Kampala
Duties:
• Knowing clients, personally visiting and advising what the company has to offer with the aid of marketing staff.
• Cordially responding to issues of public concern in relation to the company that need to be addressed.
• Assessing company needs regularly with the use of survey techniques, opinion researches and studying and evaluating the results obtained.
• The incumbent will represent the Company at press conferences, functions, exhibitions etc as requested by Management.
• Work closely with press, sponsors and customers on company issues /image etc.
• In charge of arranging interviews, handling sponsorships and maintaining public contact.
Education: The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in a Mass Communication or Business Administration.
The applicant must also hold a Diploma in Digital Marketing
Chartered Institute of Marketing certificate
Certificates in Customer Care Skills and Public Relations
Education: At least five years of post qualification experience in a busy organization
